May God reward Mostafa Ahmadi-Roshan with all the good things found in haven.
He had engaged himself with books and research in order to empower himself scientifically for the sake of developing his country and here he dies on the hands of terrorists. His expertise will be missed by all human beings who are civilized and who have respect for Good. Mostafa Ahmadi-Roshan has died a matter for he was working hard to develop nuclear that would liberate Iran from shortage of energy related industry. I look at Iran like any other country trying to improve energy sector and I don’t think they can use nuclear energy carelessly.
As much as I don’t believe in the destruction of any country, responsible leaders should not utilize offhand talk of the president of Iran to stage war on Iran .Dialogue is the only way to solve these problems. Wars will create more enemies and deep and long hatred thus making people to live in fear.
Whoever killed Mostafa Ahmadi-Roshan, an Iranian nuclear scientist and university professor has no respect for God and is an enemy of humanity. The world should look for the killers and bring them to books
May God accept him and reward him for all the good he did while with us and forgive whatever could have slipped his mind.

When Stalin died (1952), the vast majority of his supporters ceased immediately supporting the policies of his regime. The same thing also happened when TITO died in Yugoslavia. Unfortunately, I don't believe the same thing will happen in North Korea.

Kim Jong Il inherited his power after his father, Kim Il Sung died in 1994. I think his son Kim Jong Un will probably become the next leader. There have been some unconfined reports that Kim Jong Un has been already announced as leader.

Sadly, it's the people of North Korea that are going to continue to suffer the most from the continuation of this regime. Only the people of North Korea can initiate the necessary change the country needs to become a democratic, free and stable nation.

Maybe the two Korean peninsulas will become reunited?

Quote: -I’ve monitored a number of noble stands against cartel corruption over the years – most of which ended in murder.-
That’s what it all is about. The Zetas originated from highly trained military personal. They think strategically and can manage to transfer their knowledge and tactical/operative advantages into “success on the ground”. They terrorize societies, build connections with some in these societies to gather information/control and generate an ultimative - initially individual - impact to scotch possible countermeasures /reactions. Their violence combined with operative abilities and sheer brutality is paralyzing the public, the government, the police….. But as long as nobody tries to crack down this equilibrium there will be no perspective to change it. Innocent people could suffer concerning the release of information. But reasoning the given situation, how many more will certainly suffer if nobody tries to break cartel dominance?
Quote: -It’s difficult to have faith that Barrett Brown and the anons will release this information in any sort of responsible manner-
What responsible manner? If someone is regarded as a menace by the cartels people will die. If a responsible manner means not handing information over, which could harm innocent people, than you have to cope with the fact that cartels will stay in a (for them) cozy place they are working so hard for. At present their standard operating procedure implies harming innocent people and thereby getting “the crowd” in line. Everything is a menace what could change their emplacement. The greater the menace the higher the decisiveness of cartels to neutralize it. For a lot of anonymous members around the world #opcartel is “fun”, for Zetas it is a real threat they must react to, for other cartels it might be an opportunity. It’s irrelevant whether “anonymous” really has acquired relevant and potentially harmful information. A risk the Zetas won’t take. They will try to find and hunt down those who they think could be a menace. In no way is it an uncertainty that cartels will try to find anonymous members or to infiltrate anonymous in the future. No matter what anonymous will do these days, the cartels won’t care. Potential damage is big, so is potential gain.
There’s a war going on, it’s fought by highly trained combatants with a lot of resources. Anonymous - -more important- some individuals (which are perhaps less anonymous they would wish) have engaged in this war and there’s no way to stop it. Because they are a menace for the cartels steady state and it doesn’t matter whether they are a real threatening today, but if they could be in the future or a spearhead. There’s no way to stop consequence of actions provoked, but necessities to cope with it. Anonymous movement has no operative power, but has potential support from all over the world and expertise from members in many branches, which needs to be used. It could transform soft resources into midterm hard penetration ability. Not as anonymous itself, but as several locally diffused organized anonymous groups using to a certain extend the framework, activation capability and connections of anonymous. Separating information gathering/organizing of operations/technical expertise would diminish vulnerability. However, greater effect means greater organization. Seemingly more reachable points of attack for an opponent.
Momentarily #opcartel is an operation realized in a naïve manner. Even if Zetas give in to anonymous’ call, this doesn’t mean that something like a truce exists. What should Zetas do? Waiting for the next time some activists make demands to fulfill them? If they don’t react in time in a robust manner it is pretty sure this situation will evolve. Zetas need time to examine the dimension of their problem. Think it through on a high level and eventually develop a counterstrategy. If they release the kidnapped person in a controlled manner they have a chance to get both, time and further information through contact points to strike back.
Nonetheless, anonymous should not directly release information now. The deal was clear. If Zetas fulfilled the requirements anonymous should do accordingly. This has nothing to do with a deficit in loyalty concerning the “movement” and long-term goals, but with demands of the real world.

We should thankful we're getting out. Nothing since the Vietnam war has damaged this country's standing in the world as has this misbegotten war. There will be a price to pay, but at least we can move on.

I wanted to call dibs on the phrase "Ron Paul's tinfoil hat brigade" after seeing the crazy responses a serious analysis of the Federal Reserve banking system generated in a comment I made on Reddit. Alas, I am over two years too late to be the one coining that phrase. I just wanted to tip my hat by way of commenting on the clever use of language here. It amazes me that so many of his followers are adept at using the Internet, yet unable to muster even a basic grasp on history or economics. Even though I could be described left-libertarian myself, I don't think there could ever be enough rhetorical marginalization of such a kooky and dangerous bunch of ideologues.

I really cannot imagine how she must felt in that circumstance. Even now 4 years later, i can't forget her beautiful face. Even now 4 years later i can't forget the day she was killed in a horrific way. Even now women still are being killed, beaten, raped and we all do nothing about it. 2007 she died, its the same year that Meredith Kercher died. 2 young beautiful women, horrible taken away from this world and being killed in a horrible way. No one deserves a end like that. This is why i believe in God, this is why i believe in a heaven and a hell.

No words just tears. Heartbreaking..

Somethings not right here. Yesterday they reported 10 people where shot and killed. Today they said 85 people where shot and killed. How could they have miscounted by 850 percent? Is that even possible? How do you miss 75 bodies? Anybody have any theories? There is obviously something else at play here. Seems like propaganda to me. What do you think?

The four men sentenced to death in April 2010 for her murder, do not include her brothers. I think they are cousins. But not brothers. One of her brothers may have been forced to be in the crowd but he helped his parents dig up her body the next day. He was traumatized.

It's surprisingly expected that so many of these rejoicing on Bin Laden's demise can also be so delusional they can be stating such things as, "America is the freest country on earth." Cost of 9/11? Hundreds of thousand tops. Expense of hunting down Bin Laden? We are bankrupt. Which was his primary goal. In death, he is still successful.

So glad Osama got his head blown off. He was an evil man not following what God (or Allah) wanted. Don't fuck with Americans. We will kill you. Especially us Southern boys, like most of the SEALS that came out of the helicopters. He killed a bunch of Yankees, and I don't like Yankees, but don't fuck with America. We Southern boys stand up and defend our country and God. And we're way smarter and braver and stronger than you. Your jihad is so messed up. You have no idea where you're going. You're acting like stupid goats. Why don't you try to get along with people and further your society. But don't fuck with us Southern boys. We will come kill you with no hesitation. Hand to hand combat. And watch you bleed out.
