I’m betting that we won’t see this repeated every five minutes on CNN:
Pittsburgh police spokeswoman Diane Richard tells Channel 4 Action News that the victim was robbed at knifepoint on Wednesday night outside of a Citizens Bank near Liberty Avenue and Pearl Street just before 9 p.m.
Richard said the robber took $60 from the woman, then became angry when he saw a McCain bumper sticker on the victim’s car. The attacker then punched and kicked the victim, before using the knife to scratch the letter “B” into her face, Richard said.
Oddly TMZ.com is covering the story. CNN will probably want to “fact check” it, until say mid-November, before producing any coverage.

I mean, there are a lot of peeps out there who have their candidates bumper stickers on their vehicle but don’t WORK for the Party! This guy supposedly didn’t see the sticker until AFTER he robbed her.

We are doomed. It doesn’t matter who wins this election. Based on the outrageous accusations both parties’ supporters have become comfortable labeling their opposition with and the lengths they will go to vilify anyone that doesn’t buy into their extremist ideology, we’ve already lost. A lot of Americans died to defend our right to free speech, among other freedoms. Now the coddled citizenry is willing to go to war with one another to take those rights away from themselves. Where did we go wrong?
I saw the pictures of this woman. I may be wrong but it looks faked. The eyes are not red or swollen merely blacked underneath with what appears to be make up. Black eyes in real life are not “black” but a combination of red and purple. Also, the “B” is backwards as if done by looking in a mirror and is done so delicately that the victim would have to have held perfectly still. I also don’t know why anyone who had been attacked would refuse any medical treatment. Let’s see if she turns up at a hospital tomorrow and what the doctors think.
Even if I am wrong about this being faked, it doesn’t reflect on Obama anymore than a KKK attack would reflect on McCain.
What a joke-this woman was not attacked because she was an Obama supporter. I guess the big questions how far will these losers go?

The quote from her MySpace page states: “Lying is the most fun a girl can have with her clothes on”. Even the nurse in the ER she eventually went to said the “black eye” was faked. And now — she is saying she pushed him away and ran, that she was sexually assaulted, that she doesn’t remember being robbed? I live in that area. At 9:00 PM there are people all over, two very popular restaurants and a bar with a plate glass window that looks out on that exact corner. Hundreds of people all over and no one saw a thing. Impossible. How convenient — a little white girl from Texas being attached by a big black man in the north. No matter who you are supporting, this is a blatant lie.

Well, Ashley Todd confessed to making up the story about a mugger mutilating her. But she definitely has a “B” carved into her face. Backward. Kinda sounds like a mirror was involved, huh? Unfortunately, she doesn’t know how it got there.

The McCain campaign is already fighting the perception of “racist undertones” to their campaign, and Ms. Todd did them no favors by inventing a black suspect to play her so-called attacker. No need to worry about the media picking up this story now, eh?
She did it to herself. If you research it more heavily you should find the article. She’s being charged with filing a false report.
