I’m posting updates on Twitter as interesting calls come across. I’m monitoring all police, fire, ambulance, and government activity around the city as well as businesses in the Texas Medical Center and downtown.
I’m just starting to hear reports of fallen power lines. Units seem to be primarily focused on getting in position to ride out the storm in their designated areas. It’s quite an active time.
There are a few reports of looting-type activity but nothing significant at this time. I wouldn’t call it a problem at this point.
