So I now have a unique perspective on the media. My cable is out and apparently my old TV is more of a monitor than an actual television so I can’t get channels over the air. I’m waiting for Comcast to come fix it and have been scouring the internet for news updates. My most watched TV station, ABC, useless. Same with NBC and CBS. Fox on the other hand has been fabulous. I’m so surprised. The weatherman was in the chat room for most of the night last night answering people’s questions AND they live stream all of their news broadcasts so I can watch the news over the internet. Between them and SciGuy I have a grip on what is going on and I have gained a new respect for what was my least favorite news outlet in town.
