I have to comment more because I’m troubled by Jesse Jackson’s remark about emasculating a gentleman running for President of the United States. After the infidelity’s and affairs I’m surprised Jesse’s wife didn’t lop off his testicles. I hope Sen. Obama go one step further and start addressing the high recidivism rate that is affecting the black community and the high incident of teenage pregnancy. I hope Sen. Obama wins and make Jesse the Ambassador to Zimbabwe as Mr. Mugabe and this shakedown artist deserve one another. I remember Jesse and his 80′s rhetoric “not nuclear freeze but govment cheese.” “Down with dope, up with hope”. Now we have a guy whom is an eloquent speaker whom knows what the terms “proliferation and “bi-lateral agreements” mean. Run Obama Run because you can win. Oh and Jesse you better hope Obama let you say grace over the Fried Chicken at some State dinner in the future.

This is the same crab in the pot mentality that has affected the black community. I detect a little envy from a guy who is so 80′s Jesse need to take a step back. Fortunately his remarks will not harm Sen. Obama instead they will help. Sen. Obama isn’t running for the President of the Black United States but all of America. Nobody admonished Bill Cosby for airing our “dirty laundry” when he talked of responsibility.
I applaud Sen. Obama for moving his point of views to the center. This mentality that Jesse has is the same one from the slave days of the house slave and the field slave.
Finally a candidate worthy of running for the White House whom just so happen to be Black. Now all the old activist are a little mad because Sen. Obama is riding the road they actually paved. Shame on you Jesse! Don’t you have another corporation to shake down?

I personally dont care what Rev. Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton have to say. Seriously, who is Jesse Jackson, he has proven through out his career to put his foot in his mouth. He always makes these comments about groups of people or his people (I am a African-American female by the way). Then his adultery hits front pages, please this man has no moral standing with himself. I havent found myself listening to him or hearing what he has to say. I think this man is just jealous, envious. Point blank Obama is the Democratic nominee to be President of the United States. Jacksons campaign never went this far. Its a shame that personally this man probably despises Obama. Jesse has proven that he resents Obama because he wasnt smart enough to get that far.

I also believe Jackson intended to say what he obviously said, apology aside…I would love to hear the rest of the conversation. Bill O’Reilly’s “The Factor” nor any other Fox News programs played the entire comment(s).

Even though O’Reilly did say there was more said, Fox News owner Rupert Murdoch is an Obama supporter and I am convinced he has squelched much of the Obamainiac / Liberal investigative reporting. Sad!!!

Obama is called by some an elitist and more likely to appease then to stand and hell no. Example is relationship with Senator Hillary who had compared their relationship to Fred and Ginger…if he can take it from her why not listen to another who knows him a little longer.

There are tones in the conversation with Senator Obama when he is speaking to members of his race as hostile and elitist. The opinion expressed by Jackson and others should to be something Obama should learn from …after all Senator Obama is willing to make peace with Hillary …if he is a good friend to any one then Senator Obama should understand the frustration of a friend that was not happy with his speeches to the African American community. I say give this man peace for Jackson is somebody and therefore relevant

I love Jackson for he had placed himself and his family in the line of danger for the sake of social justice… if we are to heal as a nation the people need to hear all voices on the issues of social injustice and racism etc… Let Obama remember he is here by the grace of God and therefore is given stewardship over this nation …so listen to all lessons a people would love to share with him.

L O L – I applaud Mr. Obama for standing up and saying what needs to be said. All Rev. Jackson, Sharpton and crew have to say is ‘It’s everyone else’s fault and point the camera over here’. Personal responsibility is everyone’s responsibility – the blame game has gone on long enough. I think it’s high time that we call out the Black religious leadership for their self-serving bs.

If you’ve ever seen Rev. Jackson in public you will notice that he is pretty disingenuous and really a deplorable human being. Righteous my ass. Racism lives in this guy.

Put away the denial and lets move forward together.

Being a man of the cloth, I’m sure the Right Reverend Jackson must be thoroughly familiar with the words of Jesus in Matthew 10:27:

“What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs.”

As well as the words of Paul in Galatians 5:12:

“As for those agitators, I wish they would go the whole way and emasculate themselves!”

Castration and other mutilation was frequently a part of the lynching of black men for a wide variety of real or alleged offenses. Rape was not the most frequent excuse, some of which were petty, insignificant and seem incredible. In A Festival of Violence: An Analysis of Southern Lynchings, 1882-1930, authors Stewart Tolnay and E.M. Beck list 75 recorded reasons why blacks were lynched, including “being obnoxious, disorderly conduct, indolence, suing white man, trying to vote, vagrancy and unpopularity”

So the Rev. Jackson’s sotto voce urge to castrate Obama’s for “talking down to black folks” has a long tradition among southern white racists.

Once again Jackson proves what a moron he is. Does this idiot not realize that he has done more damage to the African American community than he has ever helped it? The man is supposed to be a minister. He has an affair, or if the truth were to come out, probably multiple affairs. He makes crude comments about a presidential candidate and is “sorry.” Sorry he got caught, that is, not that he made them in the first place.

This is someone who should sit back and shut up until he has something intelligent to say. Going with his track record, that will be a looooong while.

Rev. Jackson has apologized for making a comment, then accused the media and it’s listeners that it was taken out of context! Is this not what “The Rev. J.J” and “The Rev. A. Sharpton have made a living on for the last 30 years???? Taking sound bytes from others and twisting the context to make a headline for themselves. Why should he get away with this when he has taken so much from others by purposely taking comments out of context and running them up the flag pole to see the ratings he can get. Let him eat the cake he’s baked, and I hope he chokes on it with Mr. Sharpton too.

So Jesse Jackson is in hot water with the black community? The Rev has a habit of hacking people off with his less than complimentary comments.
Frankly, I don’t care one way or the other, though I doubt the Rev could cut Obama’s nuts off – because he doesn’t have any!
Some posters call Jesse two-faced and they’ve hit the nail squarely on the head. He’s two-faced, a liar, an adulterer, a racist, and egomaniacal. The only person JJ really cares about is himself. Everybody else is a very, very distant second. The Rev is nothing if not supremely centered on himself because he’s never met a mirror he doesn’t like.
IMHO, Jesse Jackson and his cohort, Al Sharpton, have done more harm to the black community than any number of white supremacists.

What I can’t understand is why Jesse Jackson Sr. thinks that it is okay to say things off mike that he wouldn’t say if he thought the mike was on. All of his apologies seem to say — I didn’t know it was live — I thought it was a private conversation. Really? Does that give him room to be this disgusting person who is two-faced and seriously past any leadership role that he used to have? He should just retire and speak privately with his friends in his disgusting ways and leave leadership to his son and others. Regretably is an understatement for these gross and ugly comments.

Perhaps the self-proclaimed president of “Black America” envies a canditate that wants to represent all Americans.

All this time Rev. Jackson’s fighting for nothing. I guess he realized Obama is just white mans puppet. Jackson has now been silenced! If Rev. Jackson was a true civil rights activist he would of spoke out no matter who is running for president, RIGHT? What would his ancestors say? (It’s all right to be scared? Just do what the white man tells you, especially if it’s a black man standing in front of the white man.)

Truth: The Democratic Party was the Confederate Party. During the Civil War Slaves were not killed because they were black; they were killed because they would vote Republican, the party that abolished SLAVERY. Abraham Lincoln was killed and replaced by a Southern General. Stupid White People who were afraid of black slaves taking their jobs decided to create the KKK (A small form of Government); the smarter White fearing Americans who were afraid the economy would collapse decided to change their political agenda so the Democrats would gain power. The Democratic Party created free well fair to make sure black people did not become a competition. In order to keep your free well fair you must have a low paying job. The Democrats thought receiving free well fair would satisfy African Americans; (Government, or Communism?). If the White Man controls America then he controls the Government, right? As long as the Democratic Party makes African Americans feel like they are the victims and the rich White people feel guilty then they are more likely to believe government (the White Man government) is the solution, and then minorities will not become a threat but only a political tool to push the democratic agenda.
Rev. Jackson believes Obama should do more for the black community, but now he has been silenced by his own party. Is this surprising?
