Times Square Military Recruiting Station Bombed
by John Little on 6/03/2008Sounds like we have some homegrown (and thankfully inept) terrorists on the loose:
New York police said a small explosion outside a military recruiting station in Times Square early Thursday caused minor damage but no injuries.
New York bomb squad officers inspect the street in front of the neon-festooned military office.
The FBI said the FBI New York Joint Terrorism Task Force “is on scene working with” New York police.
“They will gather evidence, conduct interviews and begin the investigation. Anyone with information is requested to call the FBI or NYPD,” an FBI spokesperson said.
The Associated Press reported that the blast was caused by an explosive device.
We’ll have to see how this shakes out but I’m betting on house-burning “Progressive” types.
