Poll: Americans Are Politically Ignorant, Hate Books, and are Likely to Vote for Hillary Clinton
by John Little on 22/08/2007This is what is meant by cause and effect:
Two-thirds of US adults admit to being in the dark about political issues outside the United States, and only a third are well-versed in US politics, the results of a poll published Tuesday showed.
Candidates in the US presidential primaries “may have their work cut out for them as they work to get people interested in the election,” wrote the Harris Poll group, which surveyed 2,225 adults between July 6 and 13 for the poll.
A separate survey gave New York Senator Hillary Clinton a healthy lead over her main rival Barack Obama for the Democratic primary race.
More than 40 percent of those who would vote in a Democratic primary or caucus would vote for Clinton while 27 percent said they would vote for Obama, the poll showed.
WTF? You tards aren’t reading either:
A quarter of US adults say they read no books at all in the past year, according to an Associated Press-Ipsos poll. The typical person claimed to have read four books in the last year and, excluding those who had not read any books at all, the usual number of books read was seven.
Of those who did read, women and pensioners were most avid readers, and religious works and popular fiction were the top choices. The median figure for books read – with half reading more, half fewer – was nine books for women and five for men. The figures also indicated that those with college degrees read the most, and people aged 50 and over read more than those who are younger.
The good news is that the mere act of reading this post puts you in the highly exclusive non-tard minority. Congratulations.
