April 6th Attack Rumors for Iran
by John Little on 2/04/2007I’m still not blogging much (obviously) but I expect to get back into my old groove soon. I did want to comment briefly on the “April 6th” rumors though.
The American military are going to strike on Iran on April 6, 4 a.m. by local time. The web-site Debka closed to the Israelian special services referring to the sources in the Russian Intelligence Service stated about that. The operation’s code name is “Bite”, which is due to last over 12 hours. For this time massive air missile bomb strokes will be fire on Iran’s nuclear sites. The ground attack is not planned. The purpose of all operation is to throw back the Nuclear Programme of the Iranian Islamic Republic, which is suspected of creating atomic bomb, several years ago, NEWSru.com informs.
Debka is an entertaining read but it has a miserable track record record. The Russian media is worse. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them announce that we’re attacking Iran with a secret UFO-borne bigfoot army based out of Guam. Really.
We’ll probably see airstrikes this year, maybe even relatively soon at this rate, but I don’t buy the timing or scope advanced in these rumors.
