The rights of the state need to end somewhere. If someone is stupid enough to be completely oblivious to their surroundings and die that is their own problem. IPods evolved from what used to be called a "Walkman" - if you can't use Ipods while walking down there street - where is it that we were supposed to use them? While swimming? What is so funny here is that the people can't see the forest for the trees I went to NYC and the traffic is so bad even if you don't have a IPOD they will run you over. I have never ever seems such a screwed up mess as to the traffic in NYC. IT'S bumper to bumper and honking man someone could make billions out of the horn usages there too.
