News Corp. Describes Judith Regan’s “Anti-Semitic” Remarks

by John Little on 19/12/2006

This is their version of the story:

“‘Of all people, the Jews should know about ganging up, finding common enemies and telling the big lie,’” Ms. Regan said, according to a transcript of Mr. Jackson’s notes provided by Gary Ginsberg, an executive vice president of the News Corporation.

According to the transcript, Ms. Regan went on to say that the literary agent Esther Newberg; HarperCollins’s executive editor, David Hirshey; HarperCollins’s president, Jane Friedman, and Mr. Jackson “constitute a Jewish cabal against her.”

A lawyer for Ms. Regan, Bert Fields, denied that Ms. Regan had said there was a “Jewish cabal against her,” saying she used only the word “cabal” in the conversation, and it came in response to a question from Mr. Jackson. But he acknowledged that she had made some version of the first statement, drawing attention to the fact that her boss and others involved in the controversy over the aborted O.J. Simpson project were Jewish.

He denied, though, that this reflected any anti-Semitism. “There is nothing insulting to Jewish people in saying that Jews should particularly understand what it is to be victims of the big lie,” Mr. Fields said. “They were looking for an excuse to fire her, and they fired her and called it anti-Semitic. It ain’t anti-Semitic.”

I think her remarks (it’s hard to determine intent) were inappropriate but the anti-Semitic label might be taking it a bit far. But still, why did she even raise the issue?

I have a feeling Judith Regan is Jewish, and the Jewish media is making a big fuss about the anti-semitic remarks because the Jewish media is feeling the heat from Christians who see the Jews as corrupting America. So the plan is to make it seem like the Jews were against Judith Regan because of her immoral book, when in reality Judith Regan herself is Jewish.

That’s my guess but I’m not sure and I guess it’s not fair to say that’s how it is without being sure. Maybe she’s not Jewish and maybe the Jewish people in the company really were against her for going with the decision to publish the book..

87 % of the Jewish vote in the last election went to the Democrats. The right wing has traditionally been anti semetic.

There’s been alot of heat on Jewish media for corrupting and degrading American media, and with a name like Judith Regan, the Jewish groups must have gotten alot of heat from the OJ Simpson book controversy, so I could see as a way to try to deflect the anti-Jewish feelings, to create a big story where Judith Regan gets fired for making anti-semitic remarks.

    This would accomplish two things:

    i) It would dispel the perception that she’s Jewish. The media conveniently leaves out that she’s Jewish when they mention her “anti-semitic” remarks.

ii) It would create an image for the American public that the Jews in media are against disgusting literature like the OJ Simpson book, since they apparently were behind her getting fired (note the “Jewish cabal” remark she supposedly made, saying that they were “conspiring against her”, this would stupid white Americans like Jews more).

I only am angry at Jewish media because I’ve noticed as of late that they’re trying to demonize Iran.

Of course I could be completely wrong, and she could not be Jewish, and the Jews in the office may have wanted her fired because she has no morals and published the OK Simpson book.

I just wanted to throw my Jewish conspiracy theory out there so that someone could either confirm it or debunk it. In the meantime, the “Jewish media” deserve the benefit of the doubt.

Judith should be promoting Sam Moffie and his novel SWAP.
