Barack Obama Will Announce His 2008 Campaign Plans in Early January

by John Little on 14/12/2006

I know the suspense is just killing you…

U.S. Sen. Barack Obama said in Naperville on Tuesday that he plans to announce early next month – after returning from a two-week vacation to Hawaii – whether he will seek the Democratic presidential nomination in 2008.

Followed by throngs of reporters down the halls of the Holiday Inn Select, Obama was focused almost solely on the matter he came to Naperville to address, a federal panel’s hearing regarding payments for workers who claim they were exposed to radioactive material while making nuclear weapons during the Cold War. Obama said the media attention on him would help get the matter in the public eye.

Hillary-Obama, Clinton-Obama, or Rodham-Obmama, is almost a certainty but it will be interesting watching these two square off.
