Hezbollah is up to it’s same PR tricks. Starting a war, launching over a thousand missiles at civilians, and screaming “Massacre!” when Isreal strikes back in self-defense. The whole thing would be funny if millions of people, including many here, didn’t believe it. How stupid, or blinded by hatred of Israel, do people have to be to buy this crap?
Israeli commandos flew in by helicopter before dawn into the northern town of Baalbek, on the border with Syria, capturing five Hezbollah guerrillas and killing at least 10, said Israel’s army chief, Lt. Gen. Dan Halutz.Witnesses said Israeli forces partially destroyed the Dar al-Hikma hospital in Baalbek, where chief Hezbollah spokesman Hussein Rahal said fierce fighting raged for more than one hour.
Israel has not yet released the identity of those captured. When asked by The Associated Press whether any were “big fish,” Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert said: “They are tasty fishes.”
A Hezbollah official, speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to give official statements to the media, said that Israeli troops captured “four or five” people, but not at the hospital.
He denied they were Hezbollah fighters, saying one was a 60-year-old grocery store owner and two relatives who work in construction.
The hospital, which residents said is financed by an Iranian charity that is close to Hezbollah, was empty of patients at the time of the raid, the guerrilla group said.
Olmert said that, although the scene of the fighting is called a hospital, “there are no patients there and there is no hospital, this is a base of the Hezbollah in disguise.”
A “hospital” with no patients, but plenty of armed Hezbollah. Fighters, who aren’t fighters at all, but instead a “60-year-old grocery store owner and two relatives who work in construction.” This is almost Baghdad Bob level stuff.

Hezbollah is defending Lebanon against the invaders who are “accidentally” massacring everybody there. How would Israel like to see their people ordered out of their homes to clear a buffer area in Northern Israel, or their cities devastated, their people strafed by warplanes and helicopters as they tried to flee the warzone, their enemies supplied by flights of planes from foreign powers with more and more devastating bombs. No need for a question mark, they do what they do because they have the equipment and the will, but they can’t take any fight back. However, they will have to. Israel get back inside your borders, release the thousands of prisoners you hold, allow the indigenous people to return, close your illegal settlements in occupied land and East Jerusalem and mind your own goddam business, get the hell out of the face of the local people whose land you’ve been graciously given by the UN. (Yes, stop bombing the UN as well, you asses.) The world is not fooled by this cynical and vicious war, and the right side always wins in the end, so get on it, or get the hell out of the war.
It is to bad that people like the one who calls him/herself ‘real person’ make comments like the one he/she did but, are then to cowardly to use his/her real name. This is written for his/her reading. Israel has been invaded and attacked from Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, and most of the other nations in the middle east only because they are jews and not muslims. This newest issue again started because Israel was attacked by a so called militia. If the terrorists groups like hezbolah and hamas would stop attacking Israel this could end. They can make up all of the lies that they want about why this is happening but, the reason this goes on is because the terrorists keep attacking Israel. Syria and Iran are a couple of terrorist nations who want all jews to die and they are willing to do anything to try and make it happen. I really feel sorry for the innocent civilians in the middle east for the deaths and injuries that are done to them but, the ones who need to be blamed for these acts are the terrorist groups, Syria, and Iran. They are the ones who keep starting these conflicts, then hide behind women and children and when they get them killed they scream massacre or war crimes, the Syrian and Iranian backed terrorists are the ones guilty of war crimes and massacres and they should be punished for it. They are using the excuse of prisoners taken by Israel and land taken by Israel as the reason for doing it but, if you really looked into this you would find out that all of the prisoners that Israel has in their prisons are terrorists who were caught making bombs, supplying arms to terrorist groups, training terrorists or have commited some type of crime, and the land that Israel has is all land that was siezed by them after they were attacked by Lebanon, Egypt, Syria or Palestine. In the old days when a nation attacked another nation the nation that won got to keep the land of the nation who attacked them. I have also noticed that over the past year or more Israel has been giving this land back to Lebanon and Palestine, and if I am not mistaken the land they gave back to Lebanon and Palestine is where the hezbolah and hamas attacked Israel from, makes me wonder if they should give it back if this is going to happen. The people of Israel have also released quite a few of the people they have in captivity over the past year or so as well but, this is not good enough the terrorist nations of Syria and Iran still have their puppets attack Israel because they want it all, and this means death to all jews. The people of Israel were given back their land in the 40′s after WWII but, it was their land to begin with. It was taken away from them by the Asyrians when they took the jews and made them slaves so, when people say that the land was taken from the Palestinians and given to Israel they might want to look at history to find out the truth behind Israel’s land. The guy who wrote ‘Israel is the invader and that they are massacring everyone’ needs to learn more about the truth. Yes Israel is in Lebanon but, they are trying to attack the hezbolah, who attacked them first, the hezbolah like normal are hiding behind the women and children. The Israelis have done everything they can to get the people who are not fighters to leave the area but they haven’t for one reason or another, probably because they are the hezbolah’s families. If the hezbolah were not such cowards they would fight like men not as cowards who hide behind women and children. The hezbolah have their hideouts in schools, hospitals, and peoples homes, they transport weapons in ambulances, and have women and children carry their weapons and then when they get these civilians killed the world blames Israel when they should be blaming the hezbolah, Syria and Iran for the way they are hiding behind them.( I say Syria and Iran because they are controlling the hezbolah puppets) What the world and the muslims need to realize is that Iran is building nuclear bombs that they fully intend on using against Israel. Do the muslims truly believe that only the jews will be killed by the bomb? What about fallout? Iran and Syria are going to cause the deaths of millions of innocent muslims and jews, because there will be retaliation for these attacks and even though Iran and Syria will start that also they will scream that Israel is massacring innocent women and children when they retaliate. Iran and Syria are going to cause the end of the middle east and their puppets like hezbolah, and hamas will help them. Maybe the rest of the muslims who keep saying they want peace should stop them before they do, and start saying who the real murderers are, because anyone with half a brain can tell that Syria and Iran are running the show and they believe that the civilians who die because of it gave their life for a cause so, if they believe this then they are not being murdered they are commiting suicide. I wonder if they would agree or if they would rather have their lives back that are being taken from them by the hezbolah.

Lebanon, Syria, Egypt and most of the Middle East nations did not attack Israel because Israel is a Jewish state but because Israel occupied their land. Occupation is the problem. To make my point, look at Egypt, Egypt is not in a state of war with Israel since Israel returned the Sinai to Egypt.
If, as you say or as you believe that the attack on Israel is because Israel is not Muslim, then you should review the history of Muslims and Jews. Let me give you some historical prospective.
In March 1492, Ferdinand and Isabella of Spain signed the Edict of Expulsion of the Jews, designed to rid Spain of its Jews, who were given the choice of baptism or deportation. Many Jews were so attached to “al-Andalus” (Andalusia) (as the old Muslim Kingdom had been called) that they converted to Christianity and remained in Spain, but about 80,000 Jews crossed the border into Portugal, while 50,000 fled to the new Muslim Ottoman empire, where they were given a warm welcome.
The Spanish reconquista of the old Muslim territories of al-Andalus was a catastrophe for the Jews of Iberia. In the Islamic state, the three religions of the Judaism, Christianity, and Islam had been able to live together in relative harmony for over six hundred years. The Jews in particular had enjoyed a cultural and spiritual renaissance in Islamic Spain, and they were not subject to pogroms that were the lot of the Jewish people in the rest of Europe. But the Christian armies gradually advanced through the peninsula, conquering more and more territory from Islam, they brought their anti-Semitism with them.
The expulsion from Spain in 1492 came at the end of a century that had seen the ejection of the Jews from one part of Europe after another. They were deported from Vienna and Linz in 1421, from Cologne in 1424, from Augsburg in 1439, from Bavaria in 1442, and from crown cities of Moravia in 1454. As you can see Muslims and Jews were able to live in harmony and Jews prosper under the Islamic rule. It is not the fact that Israel is a Jewish state which is causing the problem but the occupation of Arab land.
The argument to blame Hezbollah of the death of civilians that Israel is killing is a sad one. It is the same argument that Osama bin Laden used in justifying killing innocent civilians by blaming the US government for their death. By doing that we are blaming the victims. We should condemn and blame Israel and Hezbolla for the killing of civilians. However Israel is the one who has the most advanced weapons, Laser guided missiles which is so accurate to few inches from the target.
You have to remember that Hezbollah is not an army so they do not have bases to bomb, they will fight and at the end of the day they will go to their own homes and their own families. You can not bomb them without bombing the whole community. For few militants Israel is destroying villages and cities and missing the militants completely.
To say in the old days when a country wins and occupied a land they kept the land; this is a very bad message to give to the Arabs. It tells them that you can get your land only by defeating Israel! I doubt that this is what you want.
Israel still occupies some part of Lebanon, Syria and the west bank. To say that Israel gave some land to them is like saying that Mexico can occupy Texas, it is only one state and the US has 49 other so it is ok.
As long as any part of the land is occupied unrest and war will continue and civilians will die on both sides.
A balance political approach is needed with level headed people and less emotional reaction to every event.
Muslims should thank Israel for the easy way to heaven. Isn’t that what every muslim want? So may i suggest to them that they all strap themselves in a bomb jacket and run towards Israel’s border so they can blow themselves up or get killed by Israelis and go to heaven. Thank you Jews for sending lots of muslims to heaven! Amen!

I wonder why Israel fought this conflict as a bunch of girl scouts. Of course a cowardly, incompetent civial leadership which inherited the government from Sharone without actually having any experience is the main part of it.
By all accounts I’ve seen, Olmert is a fool at best and incapable of making decisions at worst.
I can think of at least two military tactics which could prove effective against Hizbolah hiding in their bunkers and coming out only to shoot IDF in the back.
1) Bulldoze sufficient amounts of dirt over their breathing outlets, which could be found by using infrared vision equipment. It might be helpful of course to raze all the buildings in the settlement
first.
2) Pour gasoline or oil into their, supposedly well interconnected bunkers, and burn them out.
But of course the pussies in charge there don’t have the nuts to do what needs to be done. The result will be future larger and far more horrible conflicts.
The loss of this war is already playing out the worst way possible for US as well, with Iran sensing weakness in Israel’s and US’s resolve to exterminate the Hizbollah rabid dogs.
The fifth column, known to us all as the French, has managed to completely dupe Condi Rice and Bolton and do best what the French do lie, lie, lie and make promises they have no intention of keeping.
