It's not part of the standard distribution yet. It is easy enough to install and relatively solid (no issues on my desktop in a few days of use) but if gaming is a priority I wouldn't install it yet. However, there are workarounds on the Ubuntu forums for gamers who want to have both. This is cutting edge stuff with a lot of momentum behind it.
