It seems that Iran is in the drivers seat:
Iran’s government said on Monday it would not negotiate over its right to enrich uranium, the nuclear-fuel making process which six world powers have demanded Tehran stop to benefit from a package of incentives.
“Iran’s view on the nuclear fuel cycle has been announced … we have obtained this technology, it is our obvious right and we do not negotiate over our obvious nuclear rights,” Government spokesman Gholamhossein Elham said.
I’m not sure the negotiations matter anyway. This regime is going to work towards becoming a nuclear threat until they are removed from power. They’re looking for more time to build their bombs while it appears that we’re hoping to slow them down enough to let the Iranian people catch up and solve this problem internally. Maybe I’m overly pessimistic but I don’t think time is on our side.
