5,806 Brave New Army Recruits

by John Little on 10/06/2006

The Army beat it’s recruiting goal for May:

The regular Army signed up 5,806 new recruits last month, compared with its target of 5,400, and the Army National Guard and Army Reserve also exceeded their May goals, according to statistics released by the Pentagon.

That’s pretty impressive wartime recruiting. You also have to factor in the constant stream of bad “news” those recruits have been fed by the mainstream media.

It would be interesting to see how the recruiting goal changes over time. Any charts?
