Saddam Hussein and his two sons may be among 5 dead in U.S. attack according to Fox News’ Rita Cosby – Seems unlikely since he is reported to address the nation.
11:32pm CST
Saddam addressing nation. It looks like he’s wearing a Monica Lewinsky signature beret. The speech is rambling and meaningless. He is reading the speech from a notepad that resembles a book of MadLibs. This may explain the complete lack meaningful content in his address.
11:41pm CST
Saddam speech over. Impossible to confirm if the speech was indeed live. Fox News is already floating the idea that the address was taped earlier.

I can’t watch 5 minutes of CNN without realizing how far they’ve sunk since the glory days of Peter Arnet and Bernard Shaw in Baghdad. Watching Aaron Brown drone on with psychobabble-peppered commentary just doesn’t do it for me. One mention of “closure” or “resonance” and I’m switching channels.
11:55pm CST
In my last three checks on CNN I’ve turned it on to find Aaron Brown questioning America’s “staying power”.
